PrestaShop

A pCon product configurator for PrestaShop

The same thing our WooCommerce, Magento and Shopware adapters do: your manufacturer catalogue imported into the shop, the 3D configurator on the product page, and every configuration landing in the order with its own price. For PrestaShop it is in development, and there is no date on it. What decides the date is a shop that needs it.

Most of it is already built

An adapter is not a product from scratch. The part that talks to pCon is the same for every platform and runs in production today for three of them:

  • The connector that holds the EAIWS session and reads the manufacturer catalogue, with the catalogue, article and enrich endpoints behind one key
  • The gate that authorises per customer and per domain, counts connections and serves the central configurator settings
  • The OCI contract: reading what the configurator posts back, including the group of articles under one configuration
  • Verifying the price signature from EasternGraphics, so nothing reaches a cart that pCon did not sign
  • The update channel, with the package checksum verified before it installs

What the module adds

PrestaShop sits in the same family as WooCommerce: PHP, your own server, and a module that hooks into the pages and the cart you already have. That is the adapter we would port, and it is the reason this one is a port rather than a research project.

  • A settings screen with two fields, the address and your key, and nothing that works before both are filled in
  • An import screen that browses the manufacturer tree and creates products, with the features as attributes you can filter on
  • The configurator on the product page, with its address composed at render time so changing instance is a setting and not a data migration
  • A signed route that receives the configuration, verifies the price and puts the line in the cart with its own price, article number and render

What moves this forward

One shop decides the order

We build adapters for shops that exist, not for a list. A PrestaShop store that sells configurable furniture moves this to the front, and you would get the attention that comes with being the first one on a platform.

What we would need from you

  • Your PrestaShop version and whether you run it yourself or with an agency
  • Your pCon setup: which instance you have and what it is allowed to do. That is what decides everything else
  • One real article you want configurable, with its accessories

What you can count on

  • The pCon side is finished and proven on three platforms, so the work is the PrestaShop glue and not the integration itself
  • The same contracts, so what the module does is written down before it is built
  • A straight answer about your brands within days, also when the answer is that the data is not there

When it ships it joins the same list as the other e-commerce adapters, priced per shop. What the others cost.

Do you already work with pCon?

That is the question that decides it. If you do, tell us which shop or ERP you run and you hear what we can connect, what it takes and what it costs. If you do not work with pCon yet, you are early: that conversation starts at EasternGraphics, not with us.
